Brazilian national team didn’t defend the title, as they lost to US team today in penultimate round at Final Six, but it doesn’t mean that South Americans played poorly.
This defense that they showed against Japan, two days ago, is everything but poor play.
Japanese players sent three amazingly tough balls, one service and two strong spikes, but the Brazilian receiver Natália Zilio Pereira and libero Léia Henrique da Silva „caught“ them all.
Pay attention to the second save. Way to go, Natália!
