It was a really tough day for Funvic Taubate. They suffered a home defeat in the derby match against Sada Cruziero 1-3 (22:25, 25:22, 26:28, 17:25), which was their third consecutive loss against the biggest rival in just two weeks.
Some of the players just could not accept another failure. Felipe Fonteles got so angry on his head coach Cezar Douglas that he yelled directly at his face and was ready to start a fight!!! His teammates had to push him away from head coach!
But, what is even more shocking is that Cezar Douglas did not replace Felipe Fonteles after this incident! The player stayed at the court until the end and scored 8 points along the way.
