Nothing could stop Bernardo Rezende’s wards in today’s match, not even a 17-minute blackout in the gym. A problem with electricity was caused by power generator during the second set when only lights from cell phones illuminated the court.
Monique Pavão stood out in Rexona with 15 points while Ana Paula Cruz had 14 in Pinheiros.
Game 2 will be played on March 15.
