It was really a good game in front of more than 10,000 fans at Maracanazinho hall. Home team had a better start while after the second set Argentina still were in race for the semifinals.
But, in another two sets, Brazil played with a full throttle and simply run over Argentina. The fourth set was uncertain, but Velasco’s side couldn’t do anything to stop Wallace de Souza, who was the most dominant player with 24 points.
The other semifinal pair is USA-Italy.
