Volleyball records at Olympic Games in Rio!

Let’s summarize all records that were recorded at the Olympic Games, both at men’s and women’s tournament.

The women’s Olympic volleyball speed serving record now stands at 100 km per hour. It was set by Serbian star Tijana Boskovic during the semifinal game against USA! Earlier, Brankica Mihajlovic had broken the Olympic serving record with 99kph service against Italy.

Ekatarina Kosyanenko is a player who served nine aces against Argentina, which is new Olympic record as she broke Zila Barros’ and Yanelis Santos’ (both from Cuba) records of seven aces.

Cameroon have Olympic record holder as well. Stephanie Fotso scored eight blocks to tie Ekatarina Gamova’s and Feng Kun’s record.

At the men’s tournament, Ivan Zaytsev tied Olympic serving record, sending 127 kph rocket to the other side. Gyorgy Grozer served 127 kph in London 2012.

A member of Polish national team Bartosz Kurek entered the list of top scorers in a single match. He is currently in the second place, scoring 36 points in one game. Gyorgy Grozer is only player better than him, who scored 39 against Serbia in London 2012.
