Juiz de Fora vs. Campinas
The team from São Paulo and also Brazilian Championship runners-up survived a scare against Juiz de Fora on road 3-1 (23-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-17) at league’s premiere.
The newcomer in renovated Campinas, the opposite Rodrigo Pinto ‘Rivaldo’, was one of the highlights of the match. He worked well in his team’s victory with 21 points and was elected MVP.
On the other side, Renan Buiatti who has just returned from the 2016 FIVB Men’s Club World Championship where he took gold medal with Sada Cruzeiro, topped with 16 points.
