Thus, Pinheiros showed they are in great form lately, since they beat another favorite in previous round, Terracap/BRB/Brasília Vôlei. Bárbara Kozonoe ‘Babi’ and Lays Oliveira scored 17 points each for winners while Tandara Caixeta had 20 in Osasco.

Defeat of Osasco went into favor of champions and leaders in the standings, Rexona-Sesc. The team coached by Bernardo Rezende ‘Bernardinho’, imposed the role of the favorites against last-placed Renata Valinhos/Country from the beginning of the match despite playing in combined line-up, 3-0. Bernardinho, who had his first game only as coach of Rexona (recently decided not to renew with Brazilian federation) gave the rest to some players from starting line-up like Gabriela Guimarães ‘Gabi’. Monique Pavão had 15 points for Rio de Janeiro side while Francyely Lemos ‘Fran Lemos’ collected 21 for Valinhos.
Camponesa/Minas coach Paulo Coco has finally re-arranged dices in his team after slow start of the Superliga. U.S. import Destinee Hooker fit in perfectly while another mid-season newcomer Jaqueline Carvalho wll need a bit more time. Nevertheless, Minas look better now which they showed with a third win in a row. Minas downed São Cristovão Saúde/São Cateano 3-0 with 21 from Rosamaria Montibeller. Edinara Brancher scored 10 for the losing team.
