“This thing with Fofão is an old date. I’ve made the invitation a few times and I think it’s important that she participates due to the respect she has from the players, the staff and the public, and I think she can do a lot. I think she could add a value to herself by being with us,” Zé Roberto said.
But, legendary Brazilian NT setter Fofão, who retired two years ago, replied to Zé Roberto that in the short term, she has no plans to do anything directly related to volleyball.
However, despite this and the fact she studies marketing at a University of São Paulo, Fofão concluded a course for the coaches conducted by the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) in Belo Horizonte, in March. So, maybe she will change her mind…
