Wallace Leandro de Souza had an excellent display, especially in the attack, to lead his team to 3-0 win over Minas (25-21, 25-20, 25-22). The Brazilian opposite had 21 points (85% in the attack, 20/17), while Ricardo Lucarelli ended the game with 13 and Sebastian Sole with 11. The Serbian outside hitter Marko Ivovic didn’t play in this game. Yordan Bisset had 14 points in Minas’ jersey.
SESC RJ have also managed to score the victory. They defeated Canoas in straight sets 25-16, 25-19, 25-17. Mauricio Borges was the top scorer with 15 points while Renan Buiatti added 12. On the other side, Matheus Cunda was the only player with double-digit – 10.
The first victory of the season 2017/2018 goes to Caramuru Volei, that managed to defeat Maringa, a team that is also winless so far this season.
Caramuru took the 3-0 away victory 25-21, 25-21, 25-18. Leal Jailton JR. was the best scorer with 20 points.
