Sada Cruzeiro played their first Superliga game after adding another trophy to their showcase, the national cup (2018 Copa Brasil), a few days ago. The defending champions swept Lebes/Canoas, whose form has been rising recently, by a 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-20).
Sada Cruzeiro made 11 kill blocks as a team while individually, the Cuban Yoandy Leal (10 points, 82% attack) and Isac Santos (10 points, 4 kill blocks) stood out in the winning team.
