Mladost-Zagreb
For the second time in only four days, Mladost Zagreb outplayed Mladost Ribola Kaštela. The encounter on January 28 was played in Round 13 of the Croatian Superliga, while today’s was valid for Round 13 of the MEVZA Cup (the Middle European Cup).
Unlike the previous match in which Mladost Zagreb prevailed in straight sets, this time Mladost Ribola Kaštela were close to doing the same after getting a 2-0 lead. But, their fierce rivals made a full comeback, 3-2, partially 20-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-15, 15-13.
Marko Sedlaček notched 20 points for the winning side. Filip Šestan made 23 for the Croatian titleholders.
By scoring a win, Mladost Zagreb emerged at the forefront of the standings.
