Qualification for EuroVolley 2019: New round is scheduled for Saturday

The second leg of the Qualification Round for the EuroVolley 2019 is on schedule for tomorrow, Saturday, August 18.

Men

After defeat in Romania, Denmark will try to score their first win in Qualification round. They will host Finland who will play the first match in Pool A.

In Pool D, Croatia were defeated by Austria and tomorrow will host Portugal who in the previous leg outplayed Albania in straight sets.

In Pool E Norway will play against Georgia and both teams will play for the first win in Qualifications.

In Pool F Macedonia and Ukraine will meet in Skoplje and that will be the first derby of the pool. Both teams showed good quality so this match will be very interesting.

In Pool G Sweden will play against Greece while Luxemburg will host Azerbaijan. In the previous leg, Greece and Azerbaijan celebrated the first wins.

 

Matches, August 18:

Men

Pool A: Finland – Denmark

Pool D: Croatia – Portugal

Pool E: Norway – Georgia

Pool F: FYRO Macedonia – Ukraine

Pool G: Sweden – Greece, Luxemburg – Azerbaijan

 

Women

After the defeat of Ukraine, Norway will try on their soil to score a win. They will host Greece who already have one win from Leg 1 when they outplayed Montenegro. Denmark will host Georgia in the second round of the qualification. Both teams will play for their first win.

After the win over Estonia in away match, Finland will host the Czech Republic who in the first match were defeated by Sweden.

Bosnia and Herzegovina celebrated the first win in Romania and in the next match they will be the hosts. In Kakanj, they will play against Latvia who is without a win.

Women

Pool C: Norway – Greece

Pool D: Denmark – Georgia

Pool E: Finland – Czech

Pool F: Bosnia and Herzegovina – Latvia
