WCH 2018 W: Milenkovic’s knee injury shaded win of Serbia

Serbian team has finished the first round of the FIVB World Championship with all five wins in Pool D but the last win was fatal for the Serbian receiver.

During the second set, the young Serbian star Bojana Milenkovic got injured and it seems that is very serious. The first diagnoses are that is a word about the injury of the front crossed ligaments. 

After that, the whole match was very hard for the Serbian players but the emotional moment happened at the end of the match when the whole team of Puerto Rico came to the Serbian bench and hugged Milenkovic as some kind of the support.

The match was finished with 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 27-25). Top scorer of the match was Ana Bjelica who scored 19 points while Daly Santana with 18 points led Puerto Rico.
