The reason for leaving the team – personal reasons.
Antiga managed to win the bronze medal of the FIVB World League in his first season as the head coach of Canada. In this season, he took the 7th place in the Volleyball Nations League and ninth place at the World Championship.
“It was an honor to work with the players and coaches as part of the Canadian national team program. In recent years, the team led by Glenn Hoag made a great progress. I am glad that for the last two seasons I kept working on this progress. I want to put my family in the first place and I will surely miss my work with the Canadian national team and I wish them success in the future,” says Stephane Antiga.
