Stuttgart

German champions recorded a surprising home win over titleholders Novara in Pool C of the Champions League: 3-1 (11-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-23). Third time’s the charm for Stuttgart ladies! After losing both duels in the quarterfinals last season, today they prevailed over Novara, the only team from Italy against whom they ever played in the Champions League.

The American Krystal Rivers was a true enigma for Novara as she tallied 28 points! Her compatriot Megan Courtney scored 17 points for the European champions.

Also, Cansu Aydinogullari again had a great game, running the actions in a very sucsessful way.

WOV, what about your favorite setter Aydinogullari? Do you think she had a good performance in these 2 CL matches?
Because you don’t lose the chance to glorify her every time.

Re: @unknown
Apparently with Aydinogullari is extra setter, why has she not played in the best Turkish clubs so far?

quot from above: ‘Also, Cansu Aydinogullari again had a great game…’

She only played in the first set and that set was drppped with big point difference.

It looks like it was the other setter who made the difference for this game.
