Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad and Benfica Lisboa have progressed to the pool stage of the 2020 CEV Men’s Volleyball Champions League.

The only representative of Serbia (the country whose men’s national team is European and women’s European and world champion) in European cups this season, Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad, has qualified for the pool stage of the 2020 Champions League. They have defeated Belarussian side Shakhtior Soligorsk in straight sets in the rematch of the 3rd Round, the same result was in the first leg, partially 25-23, 25-18 and 25-22. The prospect outside hitter Pavle Perić top-scored for Vojvodina with 14 points. He made 76% (29 digs, 48% excellent). Serbian team will join Pool E along with ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle (POL), VfB Friedrichshafen (GER), and Knack Roeselare (BEL).

Brazilian Raphael Oliveira “Rapha“ (19 points) led Benfica Lisboa from Portugal to one more win over Croatian Mladost Zagreb and qualification to the pool stage in which they will play in Pool D against Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia (ITA), VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa (POL), and Tours VB (FRA).
