Following the meeting of the CEV Board of Administration in Luxembourg, the governing body of European volleyball announced that the Champions League Super Finals will be held in Berlin, in the iconic Max-Schmeling-Halle, for the second year in a row. Thus, the Italian city of Milan failed to get the organization of the event that replaced the Final Four that was taking place until 2019.
Furthermore, the CEV revealed that the top four teams in the Old Continent, two per gender, will battle for a record total prize money of 1.5 million euros of which winners will take 500,000 euros each. Super Finals are scheduled for May 16, 2020.
