The leaders of the French Championship, Rennes, staged a magnificent team’s blocking display against countrymen Montpellier. They set up as many as 22 kill blocks, of which Brazilian Leandro Santos “Aracajú“ was deserved for 10! His compatriot Rafael Araújo top-scored Rennes with 18 points. He was also great in the block (6).

The match between the Italian Allianz Powervolley Milano and Estonian Saaremaa VC was postponed due to the decision of the authorities in the Lombardy region to close all sporting, but also public events, until March 1. The European Volleyball Confederation rescheduled this match for March 4, only a day before the rematch. Both clubs agreed to this solution which determines Saaremaa will host both encounters.
