Belarus upset Serbia on Day 2 of the 2020 CEV U19 Women’s Volleyball European Championship in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After showing signs of vulnerability in the opener against Slovakia, the national team of Serbia, one of the favorites to win the EuroVolley, lost to Belarus on the second day of the competition held in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina: 3-2 (16-25, 25-21, 25-21, 20-25, 15-13) in Pool 1 in Zenica (BIH). The winning side was led by Kseniya Liabiodkina (outside hitter of Minchanka youth team) who scored 22 points, while Darya Sauchuk (middle blocker of Pribuzhie Brest) made 5 of the team’s 14 kill blocks.

In the same pool, the bronze medalists from the last edition of the tournament, Poland, swept Slovakia.
