The Philippines National Team member Santiago has renewed her contract with Ageo. The 24-year-old versatile player (can cover middle blocker’s and outside hitter’s positions) will thus play for the Japanese V.League side for the third straight year.

Santiago returned to her home country after the conclusion of the season in Japan in January to compete in the national championship (Philippine Superliga Grand Prix) with her former club Chery Tiggo Crossovers. Unfortunately, the league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. The MVP of the Philippine Championship in 2018 promised to return to Superliga next year.
