Pool A
Romania – Spain 2–3 (25-13, 14-25, 25-21, 16-25, 9-15)
The first and second of Pool A faced each other and the result could only be a tie-break. In the end, Spain came out as the winner of this match and increased the lead in the standings.
France – Azerbaijan 3-1 (25-21, 19-25, 25-13, 25-20)
France defeated Azerbaijan and secured an important victory to stay close to Spain and Romania in the pool standing – and thus in competition for a place in the Final Four.
Pool B
Ukraine – Bulgaria 0–3 (26-28, 13-25, 22-25)
Bulgaria unstoppable march continues in the 2021 CEV Volleyball European Gold League. After defeating Ukraine, Bulgarie almost secured first place in Pool B.
Pool C
Belarus -Croatia 0–3 (23-25, 15-25, 20-25)
Croatia, after two defeats by Hungary and the Czech Republic, secured first victory in the European Golden League and three important points for the standings in Pool C.
Hungary – Czech Republic 0–3 (16-25, 17-25, 16-25)
Although one game less, Czech Republic climbs to the top of the table in Pool C and place ahead of Croatia thanks to a 3-0 victory over Hungary.
