Maciej Muzaj returns to the Polish PlusLiga after two seasons spent in Russia and Italy. He signed a two-year contract with Asseco Resovia.
The 26-year-old, who is currently with the Polish national team in Rimini, played for two clubs last season, Russian Ural Ufa and since February 2021 for the Italian powerhouse Sir Safety Perugia. In the 2019/2020 season, he also played in Russia, for Gazprom-Ugra Surgut.
He won Polish Championship in 2014 with PGE Skra Bełchatów, and as a member of the Polish national team – 2nd place in the World Cup, 3rd place at the 2109 European Championship and 2019 VNL.
