Finland delivered a sharp and focused performance on Sunday, defeating Czechia 3–1 (24-26, 26-24, 25-15, 25-23) to win the 2025 Men’s CEV European Golden League.

Czechia came out strong, taking the first set 26–24. But when their star player (outside hitter) Lukáš Vašina was forced off due to injury in the second set, Finland turned the tide. They quickly took advantage, leveling the match and gaining momentum.
From there, Finland dominated. Joonas Jokela, named the match MVP, led the charge with 16 points. The Finnish squad tightened their defense and found their rhythm in attack, closing out the final two sets 25–15 and 25–23.
Earlier in the day, Israel took home bronze, outlasting Greece 3–1 thanks to standout efforts from Shay Mayo Liberman and Mark Rura.
In the Silver League, Hungary edged Sweden in a tense five-set battle, winning the decider 17–15.
