Day 3 of the 2025 Women’s Copa América in Betim delivered dominant wins for Argentina and Peru, intensifying the race for the title.
Argentina remained undefeated with a commanding 3-0 win over Venezuela (25-11, 25-18, 25-11). Bianca Cugno led with 15 points. Venezuela’s Winderlys scored 10 points in a tough loss.
Later, Peru continued their strong form, defeating Chile 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-22). Despite Chile’s late fightback, Vigil’s 12 points helped Peru seal their second consecutive win. Chile’s captain Novoa led all scorers with 16 points.
