Following the end of the League Round last weekend, the semifinals of this year’s CEV European Golden League in Kortrijk (Belgium) for men and Ruse (Bulgaria) for women, are confirmed.
In the men’s Final Four tournament, the first semifinal pair are the defending champions Turkey and Estonia, while the second pair are Belgium and Ukraine. The Final Four of the CEV European Golden League in Kortrijk (Belgium) is scheduled for June 19-20.
Estonia won the competition in 2016 and 2018, Ukraine achieved success in 2017, and Turkey two years later – so Belgium is the only one among the four teams competing in Kortrijk has not yet tasted the glory of the European League.

In the Women’s Final Four, the first semifinal pair is Spain and Croatia, while the second pair will be the winners of the 2019 CEV European Golden League, Czech Republic and the host of the tournament, Bulgaria. The Final Four of the CEV European Golden League in Ruse (Bulgaria) is scheduled for June 19-20.
Bulgaria previously won the 2018 European League title in Budapest, while the Czechs have two European League crowns in 2012 and 2019. Croatia was second in 2019 and Spain third in 2017 and these are their best results in the competition so far.
