In the final of the Challenge Cup in front of 13 000 fans, Olympiacos Piraeus emerged victorious in the second leg match with a score of 3-0, securing the trophy and making history as the first Greek team to do so.
Rafail Koumentakis led the game in scoring with 13 points, while Gustavo Guazzelli and Toncek Stern followed closely behind with 11 points each, Salvador Hidalgo contributed with 10 points, all for Olympiacos. In contrast, Tel Aviv’s top scorer was Alexander Safonov with 10 points.
