The Fenerbahçe Opet Istanbul, 2023 semi-finalists of the CEV Champions League, started their journey with an impressive performance, securing a straight-set victory against Calcit Kamnik in the opening match of Pool C.

Fenerbahçe dominated the match with powerful spikes (41 to Calcit Kamnik’s 24), a stronger blocking (six kill blocks to four), and an overwhelming number of aces (12 to one).

Arina Fedorovtseva’s stellar performance earned her the MVP title, contributing an impressive 21 points with a 61% attack success rate, including six aces. Ana Cristina de Souza marked her return to the court post-surgery.

In the same group, Grot Budowlani Łódź faced a setback, losing to SC Potsdam with a 0-3 scoreline, highlighting the competitive nature of Pool C.
