Allianz MTV Stuttgart triumphed over SC Potsdam 3-0 in the German clash of the CEV Champions League Play Off stage.
The match, held in front of 1826 spectators at SCHARRena in Stuttgart, saw Allianz displaying exceptional composure during crucial moments, securing a straight-set win. SC Potsdam initially led in the second set, but Stuttgart, driven by Krystal Rivers, showcased a remarkable turnaround. A significant edge in blocking, with Allianz MTV Stuttgart recording 11 kill blocks against Potsdam’s two, played a important role in the outcome.
Krystal Rivers delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 17 points to secure the MVP award, while Jolien Knollema added 13 points to Stuttgart’s triumphant win. SC Potsdam’s Tara Taubner also impressed with 17 points.
