The match commenced with Imoco taking an early lead, showcasing their dominance by concluding the first set with a commanding 25-14 win. Despite a strong comeback from Milano in the second set, which they secured 25-23, Imoco was relentless.
Conegliano displayed a solid performance in the third set, winning 25-19. Milano fought back in the fourth set, pushing the match to a tiebreaker with a 25-19 victory, setting the stage for a thrilling finale.
The decisive fifth set saw Conegliano regain control, culminating in a 15-9 win, sealed by a powerful spike from Kathryn Plummer.
