The Belgian Yellow Tigers secured a confident 3-0 win over Denmark in their Euro Championship qualifier, redeeming themselves after a recent loss in Hungary. The match, held in Kortrijk, saw the Tigers clinch sets with scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 25-23.

The game began with high tension, but Belgian fears were quickly dispelled as Pauline Martin delivered impressive attacks. With debutant setter Lien Van Geertruyden orchestrating the play, the Tigers set a relentless pace that Denmark struggled to match.

Belgium won the first set 25-19 and continued their dominance, finishing the second set 25-17. Despite a brief challenge in the third set from Danish player Mikala Mogensen, Nel Demeyer’s crucial serves ensured a smooth finish.

This victory propels the Yellow Tigers back on track for a Euro Championship berth.

In other results, Spain defeated Georgia 3-0, and Greece overcame North Macedonia in straight sets.
