Tours Volley-Ball delivered a strong performance in the first leg of the CEV Cup Round of 16, claiming a 3-1 victory (21-25, 25-23, 20-25, 18-25) on HAOK Mladost’s home court in Zagreb, Croatia.
The French side started strong, winning the first set (21-25) by outpacing their Croatian rivals in the final moments. However, Mladost fought back in a tight second set (25-23), keeping the match tense.
Tours regained control in the third set, pulling ahead with a +5 lead at 14-19 and maintaining it to secure the set 20-25. In the decisive fourth set, they dominated early, leading 2-6 and extending their advantage to clinch the match (18-25).
This commanding victory puts Tours Volley-Ball in a favorable position to advance to the quarterfinals, with the return match set for December 18.
