The hosts burst out fast—Christian Fromm hammered the night’s first point and Olympiacos led 17–14—yet Las Palmas steadied, leveled at 20–20, and snatched the opener 25–20. Olympiacos hit back with a sharper block and cleaner side-out to sweep the second set 25–18.

The match tightened in a bruising third, but Las Palmas punished small errors to pull clear 25–18. A wild fourth set followed: Olympiacos surged 16–13 and later held 24–22, but the visitors erased both set points. A crucial challenge at 24–24 flipped momentum, and Las Palmas closed it 26–24 to seal the 3–1 (25–20, 18–25, 25–18, 26–24).

Osmany Juantorena was the difference, earning MVP with 20 points (including an ace and two blocks), guiding his side calmly through the fiercest rallies. Fromm, Gord Perrin, and Mitar Đurić led flashes of resistance for Olympiacos, but Las Palmas’ composure in closing time proved decisive.

The series now shifts to the Canary Islands, where Olympiacos must chase a clean win and the golden set to overturn the deficit.
