Bogdanka LUK Lublin couldn’t have asked for a better start to their first Champions League campaign, sweeping Halkbank Ankara 3–0 and energizing a loud home crowd in their Pool B opener.

Set scores were 25–20, 25–14, 25–13, as the Polish champions controlled the match from the opening points and never looked back. Kewin Sasak powered Lublin with 19 points and earned MVP honors, while Wilfredo Leon added 18. Tsvetan Sokolov led Halkbank with eight points. Lublin dominated at the net and the serve line, outblocking Halkbank 13–3 and firing 12 aces.
