Warszawa started strong, taking the opening set 25–18 with Bartosz Bednorz leading the charge from the serve line. The Belgian hosts responded by claiming the second set 25–22, their first set win of this season’s competition, and followed it up with a narrow 25–23 victory in the third after a late comeback.

Facing defeat, Projekt regrouped. Strong serving and improved blocking helped the Polish side level the match with a 25–19 fourth-set win. In the tie-break, Warszawa dominated, pulling away decisively to seal a 15–7 victory.

Final Score:
Volley Haasrode Leuven 2–3 PGE Projekt Warszawa
(18–25, 25–22, 25–23, 19–25, 7–15)

Top Scorers:

  • Projekt Warszawa: Bartosz Bednorz 26 points; Linus Weber 15
  • Leuven: Adrian Olalla Gomez 18 points; Simon Peeters 13

Bednorz earned MVP honors. Despite the win, Montpellier’s surprise victory over group leaders Cucine Lube Civitanova tightens the standings, leaving Warszawa with everything to play for in the final round.
