Allianz Milano Advance to CEV Challenge Cup Final

Allianz Milano advanced to the CEV Challenge Cup final after a 3–1 victory over Altekma SK Izmir in the semifinal second leg at the Atatürk Voleybol Salonu.

Milano secured their place in the final by winning the first two sets, 25–21 and 25–23, effectively deciding the tie. The Turkish side answered back in the third set, taking it 25–16 with strong contributions from Erhan Hamarat and Ibrahim Lawani.

The fourth set was closely contested and went beyond regular points, but the Italian team held their composure to close it 28–26 and complete the win.

Veikka Lindqvist was the top scorer with 16 points for Milano, while Tommaso Ichino added nine. For Altekma, Hamarat scored 14 points and Lawani finished with 12.

Milano will meet Lindemans Aalst in the final, with the first leg set for March 25 in Belgium and the return match on April 1 in Milan.
