This is the first time in their history that Dinamo will participate in Europe’s elite competition with a roster consisting exclusively of Russian players.
Dinamo head coach Yuriy Marichev said about the upcoming match with Noliko:
“We look forward to playing MAASEIK. Our training has been going according to plan; we had two difficult away matches in the Russian national league and after that we started preparing for our Champions League debut. Noliko is a very good team, but their style of playing is not quite the same as that of our opponents in the Russian league. We will prepare accordingly in order to be ready for that. Dinamo MOSCOW always set the bar high and we deem it very important to perform at the highest level in the Champions League as well.”
