Juantorena
Last year they faced each other in the 3rd place match at the 2015/16 Champions League Final Four. This year, they met already in the first stage. Lube Civitanova travaled to Rzeszow to play against Asseco Resovia and the Italian powerhouse will return home with a straight-sets win!
Lube dominated the match, especially the 2nd and 3rd set, while they eventually scored an away victory after just 72 minutes of play! Tsvetan Sokolov and Osmany Juantorena were the top scorers in the winning side with 15 points each.

Still, this was not a completely awful day for the Polish volleyball. PGE Skra Belchatow managed to score all 3 points in the away match against ACH Volley Ljubljana. Srećko Lisinac led the visitors with 17 points.
