In the first set of this decisive game, Skra had a difficult task as the rival didn’t want to surrender. Home team had to play an extended set to take the lead 26-24. In another two sets, Polish side set control and won the game in straight sets 26-24, 25-18, 25-14.

In Skra, Mariusz Wlazly was the top scorer with 15 points, while Bartosz Kurek and Srecko Lisinac added 13 points each. On the other side, Nikita Stulenkov was the only player with double digit – 11 points.
Paris Volley made a huge suprise in Pool C. They’ve defeated Friedrichshafen in Germany, smashing their chances to qualify for the next round. Heynen’s side needed 3-0 or 3-1 win, but they couldn’t make it.

Istanbul BBSK and Craiova have the same number of wins (2), the same number points (7), the same set ratio (0,6429). The decisive factor was match points ratio and Turkish side has a better than the Romanian side: 506:534 (0,9476) – 498:544 (0,9154).
