In the second quarterfinal at the tournament in Baku, Serbia smash Belarus 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-14) and secured their sixth semifinals.
From five semis they won four medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronzes).
On this game, Serbia had few fantastic scorers: Bošković 18, Veljković 12, Mihajlović 12 and Malešević 10 points while in Belarus Barysevich was the top scorer with only 9 points.
