CL M: Mikhailov drives Zenit to straight-set win against Jastrzębski, Butko demonstrate mighty serving

Thanks to a huge serving and attacking display, Zenit Kazan defeated Jastrzębski Węgiel in straight sets in Round 3 of the 2018 CEV Men’s Volleyball Champions League – Pool D.

In a duel of the unbeaten teams in Pool D of the 2018 CEV Champions League, Zenit Kazan from Russia swept the Polish side Jastrzębski Węgiel by a 3-0, partially 25-13, 25-23, 25-12.

Zenit did not question their victory today, with the exception of the second set, making 67% positive attack and 11 served aces as a team.

Individually, Maksim Mikhailov stood out for the defending champions with 18 points (4 aces). Interestingly, Zenit setter Aleksandr Butko made 4 aces as well. Salvador Hidalgo Oliva scored 10 points for Jastrzębski.
