The Russian giants Belogorie cruised to an easy away win in the 1st leg of the 2018 CEV Men’s Volleyball Cup – 8th finals against Israeli side Hapoel despite playing without their most efficient and most stable played this season, Dmitriy Muserskiy. He was signed up for the game but did not enter the court.
The Ukrainian Ian Iereshchenko topped Belogorie with 13 points. There were no double-digit players in Hapoel.
