Lokomotiv Novosibirsk went ahead to the 2018 CEV Men’s Volleyball Champions League – Playoffs 6.

The Russian side Lokomotiv Novosibirsk can leave a controversial defeat to Noliko Maaseik from Belgium in the 1st leg of the Playoffs 12 behind themselves as they prevailed at home in the rematch by a 3-1 (25-18, 25-22, 19-25, 26-24), plus in the golden set by a 15-12.

The Swede Marcus Nilsson topped Lokomotiv with 20 points. Ilyas Kurkaev made 5 kill blocks, while Turkish setter Arslan Ekşi served 4 aces.

In Maaseik, the Chilean Sebastián Gevert delivered 26 points, including 5 aces.
