Galatasaray
After 3-2 in the first match for Novara, today Galatasaray SK Istanbul scored a victory of 3-1 (24-26, 25-20, 25-17, 25-19) in Italy and secured the place at the Final Four of the CEV Champions League 2018 in Bucuresti.
Although Galatasaray entered the Playoff 6 as the third-best second-ranked team from the pool stage and also played without injured Tatiana Kosheleva, they showed that they are a very serious team.
Today, they defeated Volley Novara with a better attack and service and Neslihan Demir Guler was the real captain. She scored 38 points with only 8 errors (6 attacks, 2 serves). Sinead Jack followed her with 17 points.For the home side, Paola Egonu scored 24 points while Celeste Plak 11 points.
Final Four will be held in Bucuresti, Romania on May 5-6 . The teams that will play for the trophy are the organizers CS Volei Alba Blaj (Romania), Imoco Volley Conegliano (Italy), Vakifbank Istanbul (Turkey) and Galatasaray SK Istanbul (Turkey).
