This season Eczacibasa VitrA first defeated VC Oudegem in the 16th Finals twice with 3-0, then they defeated UYBA with 3-1 in both matches and in the 4th Finals the Turkish gains outplayed the Russian team Yenisei Krasnoyarsk.
After main phase Eczacibasi faced SSC Palmberg Schwerin in the semifinals and in both matches they celebrated victories in straight sets and with the good play qualified to the Final where they met Minchanka Minsk from Belarus.
In the first match played before seven days, Eczacibasi won with 3-1 and today at the home soil team of coach Marco Aurelio Motta won with 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-17) and lifted the trophy.
Serbian opposite who is currently the best player in Europe, Tijana Bošković was named for the MVP.
In front of 5600 spectators, Eczacibasi won the first trophy after three seasons.
