EuroVolley U 17 W: Russia stronger than Serbia, first defeat for Bulgaria

After the third day of the European Championship U17 for women, Russia took the top position in Pool I while Italy and Germany dominate in Pool II.

In the new round, Bulgaria found troubles in the game with Slovenia and lost 1-3. Belarus claimed a straight 3-0 victory over the Hungarians while Russia were too strong for Serbia.

In Pool II, the Netherlands won the match against Ukraine and claimed their first victory in Sofia. Italy continued their triumphal campaign and this time they defeated Turkey with 3-1 while Germany, who also remain unbeaten, this time defeated Romania in straight sets.

Serbia vs. Russia  1-3 (18-25, 25-22, 21-25, 21-25)

Bulgaria vs. Slovenia 1-3 (18-25, 25-19, 17-25, 18-25)

Belarus vs. Hungary 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-21)

Pool II

Germany vs. Romania 3-0 (27-25, 26-24, 25-15)

Turkey vs. Italy 1-3 (15-25, 16-25, 25-14, 18-25)

The Netherlands vs. Ukraine 3-1 (18-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-18)
