Northumbria
Northumbria came into the match as favorites but it was Durham got off to the best start. They won the first set with 26-24. After that Northumbria dominated in the all other sets and deservedly won the match.
Yulia Tokarenko was named the MVP, as she stood out in what was a brilliant team performance. She scored 23 points (38/18 in the attack, which is 47 %, 3 blocks and 2 aces) while her teammate Samantha Cash finished the match with 17 points (27-11, 41% in the attack, 3 bl, 3 ac). In the defeated team, Elizabeth Culpepper scored 17 points (50% in reception, 31-14 in att, 1 bl, 2 ac).
