GOLDEN EL W: Bulgaria and Czech Republic undefeated; Ruseva finished match with 8 blocks!

The Leg 3 of the Golden European League for women brought some interesting results.

In Pool A, Bulgaria stayed undefeated after they outplayed Azerbaijan who today suffered their first loss. Gergana Dimitrova finished the match with 21 points while Silvana Chausheva with 19 points. Hristina Ruseva once again had a fantastic performance in the block. She put 8 blocks!

In the derby of the Pool B, Finland defeated Hungary but the “green girls“ remain on the top. Salla Karhu was the best player of the winning team with 17 points (59% in attack and perfect reception) but Piia Korhonen was the top scorer with 19 points. Croatia barely defeated France at the home soil but at the end, they finished match with new three points. Now, they have same 2-1 in wins and 6 points as Hungary and Finland but they are second on the table. Samanta Fabris finished the match with 31 points while with Juliette Fidon 27 points for France.

In Pool C, Chezch Republic are for now the most prepared team in the competition. After three matches their score is 3-3 with 9 points and without losing a single set. Today they defeated Slovakia in straight sets Andrea Kossanyiova was the best score of the match with 19 points.

On the other side, Spain outplayed Belarus in away match thanks to Maria Segura Pallares who scored 22 points.

Belarus vs. Spain 1-3 (21-25, 25-11, 23-25, 16-25)

Czech Republic  vs. Slovakia 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-19)
