This is the first victory of Argentina at the World Championship!

Argentina

It was an important moment for Julio Velasco’s team.

After suffering a defeat in the first game vs. Belgium, Argentina got over it and scored a win against the underdogs the Dominican Republic. They had a really tough task in the first set, however, after taking it the Argentine boys easily take the other two sets.

Cristian Poglajen (12 points) and Sebastian Sole (11) were the top scorers in Argentina, while Santana and Capellan had 11 each on the other side.
