What a night for the Slovenian boys at the World Championship...

Slovenia

Slovenia

They have never experienced a bitter taste of a defeat at the World Championship! They were close to suffering the first ever defeat at this competition, after losing the first two sets vs. Belgium.

However, the team of the Serbian coaching expert Slobodan Kovac, has managed to set the control in the third set and to came out as the winners in a very difficult fourth set, 25-23.

The tie-break also was very uncertain but the Slovenian side was more focused and luckier to win this part of the match and to clinch the game, 3-2.

In Slovenia, Alen Sket had 21 points, Tine Urnaut had 18 while Mitja Gasparini had 13. On the other side, Bram Van den Dries ended a game with 18, while Sem Deroo added had 17 points.
