WCH 2018 W: The Dutch team undefeated in Pool A

After Day 4 in Pool A, the Netherlands stay undefeated after a new win at the FIVB World Championship.

Today in Yokohama they defeated Argentina in straight sets and confirmed the top position at the standings and their place in the next stage of the competition.

On the other side, Argentina are on the bottom with four losses. They didn’t win the even single set.

Lonneke Sloetjes was the top scorer of the match with 23 points followed by Maret Balkestein-Grothues 11 points. In the defeated team, Elina Rodriguez scored 12 points while Anahi Tosi finished the match with 10 points.

Japan – Cameroon 19:20 (12:20)

Pool C 

Azerbaijan – Trinidad & Tobago 3-0 (29-27, 25-16, 25-17)

Russia – Korea 16:10 (09:10)

USA – Thailand 19:20 (12:20)

Standings: USA (3-0) 9, Russia (3-0) 8, Thailand (2-1) 6, Azerbaijan (2-2) 6, Korea (0-3) 1, T&T (0-4) 0.

Puerto Rico – Dominican Republic 0-3 (22-25, 17-25, 20-25)

Serbia – Kazakhstan 16:10 (09:10)
